Trims to Comrade
Vijay Deverakonda has an enormous following in not only South India but also in the North too. His current movie, Dear Comrade which is released in four South Indian languages, is getting divide talks in all languages and the main reason seems to be the slow pace of the movie that is testing the patience of the audience. Vijay said in a meet after the release of the movie that he knew from the starting that the pace of this movie will have a difference of opinions from the audience and that this kind of reaction is expected. But because he liked the story very much and only the slow narration will make the movie feel good are the reasons he chose to do that movie. The movie duration is 2 hours and 49 minutes and because of the negative response from the audience, the team decided to trim the movie a little. So some scenes will be trimmed and along with that the Canteen song, which is not in the movie during release is now being added. Since the movie is a musical success, adding one more song might help the movie. The canteen song from the movie Dear Comrade is shot in a single take that longs almost three minutes.
